Results

The interpretation of the OTB Sustainable Tourism Indicators System is based on:

• The result of the indicator itself on the basis of the ideal or desired value.

• The result of the indicator in relation to other geographical areas of analysis (benchmark).

• The temporal evolution of the results of the indicator in the same geographical area.

The findings are presented in sheets that include explicative information on each of the indicators: areas, issues and SDGs to which they are linked, method of calculation, justification, interpretation and data sources. The presented results refer to the three geographical areas of OTB’s usual work: Barcelona city, Barcelona region and Destination Barcelona.
